This is an attractive unit, well constructed, but the faucet shown on Amazon is not the faucet supplied, and looks nothing like it. It is not curved but straight, and its nozzle sits at a level just inside the bowl, only an inch or so from the interior edge. That makes the faucet's intended use -- washing your hands -- problematic, since there's little room to rub your hands together without banging your knuckles into the hard ceramic bowl.

I suspect the faucet shown might have been the one included by the manufacturer at some point: search the web and you'll find some pictures of this product with the faucet pictured on Amazon, some with the one actually supplied, and there are even some web sites showing different views of the product with different faucets. I suspect that whatever the picture, the new (probably cheaper) faucet is what you get. So, if you buy this unit, you might want to plan on spending another $100-$200 (more if you want to) for a better faucet -- or on not washing your hands throughly for 20 seconds (shame on you). Frankly, at $699 the sink would be a decent value even without any faucet (it costs $200 more elsewhere), so it's worth the perhaps $899 you'll then end up paying: The product is beautiful, the slide-out drawer functions very well, and you may have some use for the mirror and matching wall-mounted cabinet -- I didn't and discarded those as well.

That said, there are a couple of additional caveats. I had the product shipped to me twice, both times with parts broken, and was only able to end up with a complete, undamaged unit by combining parts from both shipments. The first time part of the cabinet was damaged; the second time I received a broken mirror (I didn't know I wouldn't be using the mirror until later). Sadly, this seems to be a universal problem with shipping large, somewhat fragile, 100 pound or heavier items, whether purchased from Amazon or elsewhere (the toilet I purchased the same day from another vendor arrived with two broken parts, including a broken seat).

Finally, there is the issue of the vessel style sink itself, particularly this one. I love the way vessel sinks look, and I have an interior designer who selected and recommended this model. It's a great fit, aesthetically, for my newly remodeled, modern bathroom. But I value function over form, and for me there's one small problem: the inevitable puddle. You wash your hands, they are wet, you reach to turn off the faucet -- and you necessarily dribble water over the surface of the cabinet as you do so. That's obviously not a problem with a more conventional sink in which the handle to turn off the faucet resides over the bowl (I've looked but can't find a faucet that works that way, with this vessel sink design). It's not much of a problem with many other sinks, including pedestal types. But it's a particular issue with this unit, given the position of the faucet and the glass countertop, where the puddle sits until you wipe it up. This issue might not bother most people, and obviously vessel sinks are quite popular. Personally, I'd think twice before buying this unit again (unless I could find -- and was willing to spend the money for -- an automatic, motion-sensing faucet which would also solve the puddle problem). Still, I can recommend this unit to anyone who appreciates the aesthetics, and isn't dissuaded by the issues mentioned.
