Ridgid 72862 Dry-Cut Saw Review

This is the 230 volt version of the model 614 saw and is made by Emerson Tools, the folks that make the Rigid line of tools for The Home Depot.

I don't own this saw, but I do own another Rigid product that carried a so-called "Lifetime Warranty"... what they didn't tell you up front was that the "lifetime" duration THEY were talking about was the lifetime of the brushes! After that, you're on your own! The user's manual on this saw claims "This warranty lasts for the lifetime of the Rigid too. Warranty coverage ends when the product becomes unusable for reasons other than defects in workmanship or material."

Does that mean when the brushes wear out, that's it? I'll have to call and ask after the weekend... and update this then.
