iRobot 80-PP0014 Robot Roomba Model 581 Floor Robotic Vacuum Review

This Roomba replaced a 560 model. This 581 is much better. It cleans one room and then moves on to the next using the lighthouses. It comes with extra brushes and three virtual wall/lighthouses. The sensors must be better as it cleans for about an hour and still finds its home base and docks automatically whereas the 560 would just run out of gas and stop in a room where I would have to search to find it. I love this thing we call Goofy. It goes under all my kitchen cabinets without getting stuck and cleans my multiple rugs over my wood floor. My last Roomba was refurbished and lasted only a couple years when the sensors stopped. I could have repaired it by sending the sensors to [...], but I am glad I opted for a newer model. I did find mine for $299 at Geeks.com however.
