Our large house is a bit like a furnace in summer time and running the A/C all day has become prohibitive! The description of this solar powered attic fan caught my attention. Good quality steel, powerful motor, 5 blades, build over here (not that that's necessarily a good thing), solar etc. I decided to make the rather sizable investment (in a product that had no reviews yet!)
To all you skeptics out there: this is worth the investment! It took only 10 minutes after installation to notice the lower temperature in the attic and the house is definitively cooler in the following days.
About the product: quality product, all screws, bolts, wires and even caulking tube provided. Instructions could be a little more elaborate but the installation of this product is easy and accessible to the beginner DIY's.
I recommend adding the on/off temperature sensor switch for a top quality performance.
