I would have given the lamp 3 stars except it is nice looking, and that's why I bought it. I'm giving it 4 stars because the stand part of the lamp feels like the lowest possible quality that might still be considered acceptable. I have another (totally unrelated) floor lamp that is exceptional quality (thicker metal, better design). Compared to it, the tiffany lamp seems cheap (even though it wasn't inexpensive).

I was afraid the lamp shade was plastic, but I read online about how these shades can seem that way. It is heavy, much heavier than it would be if it was plastic. The color is fine too, it was just tapping on it that made me think it wasn't real glass. Anyway, apparently that's normal. By the way, I thought the shade was going to be mostly blue, but it is mostly purple or violet shades. There is blue too, but overall it seems more purple. Also, I'm not sure how antique bronze is supposed to look, but to me the stand is pitch black.

One final note... it was packaged very well. However, I tore into the packaging and had a huge mess. The styrofoam seemed to tear/disintegrate easily and everywhere. Patience during the unwrapping might be helpful.
