Clean design. Simple control. I have the shower fixtures in this design too, and I will say it is a bit odd that the cold and hot directions are different on sink and shower. They had been installed for some months before I noticed this. Also, when I purchased this on-line I was flying blind when it came to matching up faucet length with sink drain. The contractor had told me the water needed to fall right over the drain. That is actually incorrect. It needs to hit the forward rim of the drain. That creates a little swirl in the sink that washes it out. This faucet turns straight down so it is not very forgiving. On mine, the water goes from the faucet straight down the drain without ever touching the sink. I blame the contractor (who else?), but I don't know if I would do it differently if I had the chance. I like the look of both my sink and faucet too well. And I can always plug the drain if I want to fill up the sink. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "American Standard 2064.461.295 Serin Single-Handle Wall Mount Lavatory Faucet, Satin" are high quality item.
