We absolutely love this fan. It is beautiful and there is no swaying or wobble of the downrod when it is on each speed. I researched the difference between a 4-blade vs. a 5-blade fan. It appears that there really is not too much of a difference. The 5-blade just has an extra blade and tends to create more of a drag than the 4-blade. This can cause it to sway or wobble. We love that it is run via remote control and also has a reverse which we need while using our wood stove. I was surprised to find out that not too many ceiling fans have a reverse option and also don't have remotes, only pull-chains. We were able to purchase the matching downrod but it came from a different seller. I don't understand why the seller of this fan didn't also offer the downrods that match. We are extremely happy with this ceiling fan.
